Congratulations to Garet Lessley for competing in the State Class C Golf Tournament. Garet was the first Lima High School student to qualify for the tournament. He carded a 103 for round one and a 99 for round two. Great Job Garet!
The JH BPA Club was able to visit the Museum of Science and Industry and the Shedd Aquarium before placing 7th in the Nation for Digital Game Design. The Club would like to thank everyone who made this trip a reality for them. It was an experience of a lifetime that would not have been possible without YOUR support.
They did not get the placement they wanted but they still placed in the top 10 at Nationals! That's pretty amazing for their first year competing. Congratulations to the JH BPA Club!

After the JH BPA Club presented their game, they headed over to Guaranteed Rate Stadium and caught a White Sox game followed by a trip to visit the iconic "Bean" sculpture in Millennium Park. Its platform is currently under construction so no pictures next to it but it was still pretty cool to see.
The JH BPA team has made it to finals which means they will place in the top 10 and will walk on stage tomorrow for the BPA Nationals Award Ceremony. Wish them luck as they go and present for placement.🎉
Today was a busy day for the JH Club. They presented their game, took an architectural boat tour on the Chicago River, and checked out the Navy Pier. They are definitely getting their steps in. 🙂

On Monday, April 15th at 3:00 we will honor our State Champion FFA Horse Evaluation Team and our State Champion JH BPA Game Design Team. We are so proud of these students, their hard work and dedication, and their advisors, Ms. Guinnane and Mrs. Bernard. Come line the street in front of the school and cheer them on to Nationals!
The JH BPA Club will be hosting a Spaghetti Feed fundraiser at 6pm on Thursday, 4/18. There will be live and silent auction items. Please join us in helping the club get to Nationals in Chicago.
The JH Track Team attended a meet in Corvallis yesterday. Each of them continue to make improvements! Congratulations to Rowen Bailey for taking 1st place in the 100m and running long jump with a jump of 15ft 10.5 inches!🥇Keep up the good work athletes! 🐻❤️💛
Congratulations to the Lima FFA Horse Evaluation team. They won first place for the state competition and will be headed to nationals in the fall! Kalen Martinell placed 5th overall in the state! GO BEARS!
