First day of school is tomorrow! All PE class students please remember to bring your swimsuit, towel, and a plastic sack to bring your wet suit and towel home in as all afternoon PE classes will be swimming. Thank you!

Last ONE! Join the Centennial Valley Association on a field trip to Big Sheep! Students and their families will tour the Big Horn Sheep release site with Montana FWP Wildlife Biologist, Jessie Newby, and learn about this species in our local area. We will be hiking, so please wear closed-toed shoes and sunscreen, bring a water or two, and binoculars if you have them! CVA will provide extra bug spray and adventure snacks. Thursday August 12th 9 to noon.
The school bus leave promptly from Lima School at 8:30am. Please arrive 15 minutes early! Please send an RSVP email to Katie Pabody or Jackie Sutton prior to the bus departure on August 12th.

Kyle Cutting, Red Rock Lakes National Wildlife Refuge Biologist, will be our host! Students will learn about the different wildlife in the valley and will go on a nature walk by the Refuge! Lunches will be provided by CVA. Thursday August 5th, 9:30 to 2:30 Meet at the school at 9:15 Please let us know if you are interested so we can arrange appropriate transport

After the talk, students will get a chance to work together and build their very own bluebird house that will be placed on the wildlife refuge! Thursday July 29th 9:30 to 12:00 Lima School

Kara will share what YOU can do to help prevent the spread of invasive weeds in Montana! Students will need their thinking caps and close-toed shoes. Join us July 15th 9:30am to 12:00pm for some fun weed ID, activities, and prizes!


Join the Centennial Valley Association on a field trip to the Red Rock Ranch! A tour of the ranch will be given by Ranch Manager, Tyler Hamilton, who will share what it is like to raise buffalo (bison) in Montana. Parents are welcome, and encouraged, to attend! Please wear close-toed shoes and bring a water bottle and a yearn for learning!

Each person attending will need a signed waiver returned to Katie Pabody or to the school. Waivers can be picked up from the school or emailed by Jackie on request.
